High Honors and Honors at York are granted on the basis of sincere and consistent application to the subjects studied, as reflected both by teachers’ comments and by grades.

 

High Honors are awarded to students taking five or more unrepeated courses with only one grade below an “A-”, and that grade no lower than a “B.”

 

Honors are awarded to those students taking five or more unrepeated courses with no grade lower than a “B.”

Each event will run for three to four hours, providing ample time for examinations. All to be conducted at the Physical Therapy Clinic at Ryan Ranch – South Campus, 21 Lower Ragsdale Drive, Monterey. You must bring a sports physical form with you. You may download the physical exam form York has available in the Magnus portal (forms also available here).

York School has been chosen to participate in an incredible one-night only concert of Stephen Schwartz's (Godspell, Wicked) production of Children of Eden at Lincoln Center's David Geffen Hall. Directed by Tony Yazbeck, our students will be singing in the ensemble with a full Broadway cast -- yet to be announced. York students will have the opportunity to tour around New York City, see multiple Broadway musicals, have a master class with Broadway professionals, and perform in one of the most iconic music halls in the world. This opportunity is open to all students who are interested in singing in this performance of Children of Eden. 

 

Rehearsal Schedule: January-February, 3-4:30 p.m.

Cost: TBD (will include airfare, hotel, Broadway shows, some meals)

 

York School would like to once again congratulate all graduates on their tremendous work these past years. We wish them well as they prepare for the next part of their journey post-graduation.
